As we near the end of week two of the preseason training for the men and Colts it's pleasing to see what can be achieved with numbers training focusing on game play and fitness.
On Tuesday the squad split into three teams and focusing on attacking and defencive space with plenty of analysis from the coaches and players aiding continuous improvement.
Tonight (Thursday) it's all going to be about team shape, Lineouts and Starter moves and no doubt the coaches will have a blowout game to finish the session.
The ladies and U18 Girls have been playing touch on a Monday night and numbers are steadily improving and this coming Monday a beach session is planned at Lyme Regis. If you are in school year 11 or older (no upper limit) and you would like to join in please call Jo Truscott 07872581233
The 3rds have opted to do some extra training leading up to the season despite their top five finish last year they are looking to improve and Paul Wright is taking a training session on Fridays from 7pm, believe it or not the 3rds have also started a running group on saturday morning's meeting at the recycling center 8am and running along the cycle path towards ilminster at varying pace.
